Setting up the equipment

Firstly check that you have the right equipment in the box. You should have the TV box itself, a remote, a HDMI cable, and power cable.

  • Plug in the power cable for the tv box (F).
  • Plug one end of your HDMI cable into Connect TV (C) and the other into your TV's HDMI port.
  • If you are using an ariel for live tv, please plug in the ariel (A) so the box can scan for channels as you run through the set up.
  • If you have a sound system you'd like to hook up its the Optical (B) and if you'd prefer to connect the TV box via ethernet cable please use the ethernet port (E).
  • Put the batteries into the remote and you're ready to go!

Please note: if you are intending using the recording function on Connect TV, you must have a formatted USB flash drive or external hard drive set up to save these recordings to. Please plug it into the USB port (D). (You can skip this for now and do this step after set up if you don't have one just yet!)
