How do I set up Call Screening?

A guide to setting up Call Screening with Connect Phone.

Call Screening will request anyone calling you to announce their name before the call connects. This can add another layer of protection to help you screen nuisance calls.

Please follow the below steps to set this up:

  1. Log into the Web Portal and click on Answering Rules on the menu bar. 
  2. Click on the Pencil beneath Add Rule.

  3. In the Edit Answering Rule menu look for Call Screening, click on the box to give it a blue tick. 
  4. Click Save.

  5. Click on Allow/Block, the allowed list will allow numbers to connect automatically without being screened.  
  6. To add a number, please type 44 before the number. e.g. 447123456789

  7. Click Done to save these settings and bring them into immediate effect.
