Cost of living – how Connect Fibre’s price freeze could help you

Inflation is now at its highest level since 1992 and the cost of pretty much everything can gone up, from our weekly supermarket shop, to energy and entertainment. According to YouGov, 8 out of 10 people either expect to make cuts or have already made cuts as a response to the increase in cost of living. With the cost of living at the forefront of minds, and broadband price hikes dominating the headlines, we’ve taken action by freezing our prices for 2023. Read on to find out what this means for you.

How is Connect Fibre tackling the issue?

Most of the major broadband providers have now announced their price hikes, with prices set to increase in April. At Connect Fibre, not only are we freezing our prices for 2023, but we are committed to no mid-contract price hikes and no hidden fees either, giving you peace of mind that what you sign up for is what you will pay for the length of your contract.

Recommending a package

We’ll ask you a series of questions when you get in touch with us, or you can use our package finder, to determine the right package for you. We’ll look at the number of devices you have connected, the size of your home and how you use your Wi-Fi and recommend a package with blisteringly fast guaranteed symmetrical speeds at a fair price. We’re even throwing in Hypersonic, our top package guaranteeing 900Mbps, as a free trial for the first three months.

Still in contract with another provider?

If you’re still in contract with your current supplier, you may be able to switch earlier because of the price increases that have been announced. That means you may be able to switch your services to us before your current contract ends getting you faster, fairer, flawless full fibre broadband with no mid-contract price increases.

We’re also able to offer you a buyout deal up to the value of £300, if you take out Connect Fibre’s Hypersonic 1000Mbps or Turbo 500Mbps package, enabling you to make the move a little faster. For more info on buyouts, click here.
