At Connect Fibre, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to revolutionise and transform UK towns and villages by giving them super-fast, reliable fibre broadband. 

The Role

We now seek a confident, energetic, and seasoned Product and Propositions Manager to join our dynamic team. In a newly created role, you will report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the end-to-end development of new propositions from concept to launch  
  • Own, create and drive compelling products and propositions relating to fixed connectivity services such as Broadband, Voice, TV, and Wi-Fi and their related portfolio of Value-Added Services (VAS) and customer premise equipment (CPE) 
  • Facilitate new propositions ideation, evaluation and business cases using customer needs, competitor landscape, market trends and trading insights 
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to create and execute go-to-market plans  
  • Excite and engage our front line and wider teams to best enable them to sell or service your propositions 
  • Own and oversee product budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources relating to cost, pricing and packaging 
  • Own and maintain the marketing claims matrix to be used internally and externally for your propositions 
  • Evaluate scenarios and business cases for new propositions, aligning them with our business plans 
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in for product initiatives  
  • Lead virtual teams from, marketing, network, and sales teams to leverage all elements of the marketing mix (price, product, place, promotion and people) to deliver customer proposition launches or changes successfully 
  • Monitor and manage in life performance of customer propositions and proactively propose and deliver enhancements/fixes with the wider business 
 

The Candidate

  • Experience in a senior role within a proposition function preferably in a broadband, leading UK Telco or Media or SaaS company – B2B or B2C 
  • An innovative but pragmatic thinker able to come up with ideas that will delight our customers but also make commercial sense and are technically realistic 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines 
  • Able to lead a virtual team from across the business in taking a proposition from concept to market 
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, commercial, and Microsoft literacy  
  • Ability to size market opportunities for a proposition in terms of volumes, price, revenues and profits, using robust insight and data 
  • Expert user of customer insight: working with and distilling multiple and disparate insights and data sources into compelling and actionable recommendations 
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence and confidently lead discussions with all employees from customer-facing to the Senior Leadership Team 
  • A supportive and inclusive leader, able work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
